Andrea Burton
Andrea joined Goochland in 2017 as the Instructional Technology Coach at Goochland Middle School. She is a proud James Madison Duke Dog with a Masters of Arts in Teaching, concentrating in Middle School with 6 years experience in the middle school math classroom. Andrea is energetic about teaching and making technology and innovation accessible to all and inspiring and helping teachers and students find their passion.
Krystle Demas
Krystle Demas is a compassionate educator focused on helping teachers and students achieve their goals through innovation. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Krystle works as an elementary technology coach at Goochland and Randolph Elementary Schools.
In 2018, Krystle was recognized as Goochland County’s educator of the year. She was also recognized in 2018 as one of three “Technology Coaches of the Year” by the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE).
Krystle serves on GRAETC, the Greater Richmond Area Educational Technology Consortium, which sponsors an annual conference for teachers each year. She has been an active participant and co-presenter for the Richmond, Virginia-area ScratchEd Meetups, sponsored in part by WCVE and ScienceMatters. She has served for three years on the Curriculum and Innovation team for Goochland County, three years as co-lead as a new teacher mentorship team, and has presented numerous times at VSTE, EdTechRVA, and VCEC.
Morgan Noone
Morgan joined Goochland in August 2017 as the Instructional Technology Coach at Byrd Elementary. She came to Goochland with nine years of experience teaching first grade. Morgan earned her Master in Educational Technology through James Madison University. With a passion of early literacy, Morgan loves to find ways to help young readers. She focuses on building relationships with teachers to help them feel comfortable infusing technology into the classroom.
Catherine Richards
Catherine has just recently joined Goochland as the Instructional Technology Coach at Goochland High School with two years of experience as an instructional technology coach and 10 years of experience teaching secondary English and social studies. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing her Masters in Educational Leadership from Virginia Tech. Catherine is passionate about supporting teachers in creating and facilitating innovative learning experiences for all students and empowering them to become contributing citizens.
